FlyAway airport shuttle service between LAX and Santa Monica will be discontinued immediately after Labor Day weekend. The Santa Monica service will stop ruing at midnight on Tuesday. Airport commissioners voted earlier this summer to end service for the Santa Monica route due to low ridership, according to Los Angeles World Airports spokesman Charles Paunzio. FlyAway service will still operate out of Westwood, Long Beach, Hollywood, Union Station, Van Nuys and the Orange Line’s Woodley Station. While a majority of Americans see undocumented immigrants in a positive light, a new poll found that staunch Donald Trump supporters have a more threatening view of people who are in the U.S. without legal status. More than 76 percent of those surveyed said undocumented immigrants are as hardworking and honest as U.S. citizens, according to a poll conducted by the Pew Research Center. More than a year after the Califoia Coastal Commission halted the demolition of three waterfalls at Trump National Golf Club, the club was given a go-ahead this week by commission staff to move forward with restoration work.
