Man shot to death in West Long Beach

A man shot was shot to death early Saturday moing in what Long Beach police believe was a gang-related attack, officials said Sunday moing.

The victim was identified Sunday at Christopher Delatorre, 30, of Long Beach.

At about 2:25 a.m., police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Cameron Street in West Long Beach. Arriving officers found a man suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the upper torso, police said in a statement.

Long Beach fire persoel responded and determined the man was dead at the scene.

Police are continuing their investigation.
