Find out when and where to get a free lunch during spring break in Long Beach

Long Beach Unified is offering free lunches to students at 14 elementary schools as the district’s Summer Food Service Program was extended during spring break.

LBUSD offers “open sites” that are available to all kids and “closed enrolled site,” where priority is given to neighborhood students, but any student may attend, space

permitting.

Open Sites

• Whittier Elementary, 1761 Walnut Ave., through April 8 from 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

• Bobbi Smith Elementary, 565 E. Hill St., April 4-15 from 10:45 to 11:15 a.m.

• Theodore Roosevelt Elementary, 1574 Linden Ave., April 4-22 from 11:15 to 11:45 a.m.

Closed Enrolled Sites

• Jane Addams Elementary, 5320 Pine Ave., Bret Harte, 1671 E. Phillip St., and Abraham Lincoln, 1175 E. 11th St., through April 29 from 11:30 a.m. to noon

• Burbank Elementary, 501 Junipero Ave., and Frances E. Willard, 1088 Freeman Ave., through April 22 from noon to 12:30 p.m.

• Bobbi Smith, 565 E. Hill St., through April 1 from noon to 12:30 p.m.

• Thomas Edison Elementary, 625 Maine Ave., and Robert E. Lee Elementary, 1620 Temple Ave., April 4-22 from noon to 12:30 p.m.
