Kendrick Lamar, Vince Staples to perform at FYF Fest

Kendrick Lamar and LCD Sound System will headline this year’s FYF Fest, which retus to Exposition Park Aug. 27 and 28.

The just released lineup also includes Long Beach rapper Vince Staples and Moby on Saturday and Grace Jones and Beach House on Sunday.

Other notable acts on the lineup include Tame Impala, Grimes and English singer and visual artist Anohni, who will debut the live show for her new album “Hopelessness.”

The festival, which started as a cluster of punk-rock-oriented shows at small venues in Echo Park has grown into a major music festival with a reputation for an unexpected lineup.

Last year it was headlined by English alt-crooner Morrissey and Kanye West, who stepped in at the last minute for Frank Ocean and stued the crowd when he brought Rhiaa on stage for a pair of songs.
