Public invited to job fair at Cerritos College

NORWALK >> Cerritos College will host a job fair on campus Thursday.

The free event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on campus in Falcon Square, which is border by the Leaing Center, Student Center and Business Education and Fine Arts buildings.

More than 40 employers from several industries, including healthcare, sales, retail and govement, are expected to attend.

Job seekers are encouraged to wear business attire and bring copies of their resumes.

In the days leading up to the job fair, the college will host two free workshops: A resume workshop covering the basics of structure and content will take place Monday from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Business Education building, room 108. A workshop on how to market oneself to employers will take place Tuesday from 11 a.m. to noon in the Business Education building, room 105.

Free parking for the job fair and workshops is available in lot C-10.
