Long Beach area weather: rain expected

Weather forecasters predict wet weather in Long Beach over the next few days, begiing with light rain today after about 11 a.m.

Showers are possible through Friday, and another storm is expected to hit the region Saturday bringing stronger rain and possible thunderstorms. Showers are also expected Sunday and Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures will remain in the 50s and 60s.
