A Los Angeles man is facing a felony robbery charge stemming from an incident in early March in downtown Long Beach.
Urbin Lee Miller, 41, was charged Thursday for the crime on March 2 in the area of Pine Avenue and Third Street, police said in a statement Monday.
Miller is accused of accosting a business owner who was walking downtown, taking the man’s bag and money then fleeing on foot.
Detectives used a “significant amount” of surveillance video footage of the robbery which led to Miller’s arrest, police said.
Miller was arrested March 23, and posted bail of $100,000 the next day.
His next court date is Tuesday.
