Long Beach police arrested two men on suspicion of burglarizing a Wrigley District business early Tuesday.
Roseshon Robinson, 24, of Los Angeles, and Davontey Henderson, 26, of Long Beach, were booked at Long Beach Jail on suspicion of commercial burglary and are being held on $20,000 bail each, said Sgt. Bradley Johnson, a police spokesman, in an email.
Officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress at 3:45 a.m. at a business in the 800 block of West Willow Street, Johnson said. Once they arrived, an officer saw one of the men trying to exit the building through a broken window. The suspect saw the officer and retreated into the building.
Police set a perimeter around the building and ordered the men to come out, he said. They exited and were arrested without incident. The investigation continues.
