LOS ANGELES — Motorists in mountain passes are cautioned as strong northerly winds whip up across Southe Califoia.
The National Weather Service says the winds will be felt through Friday.
Gusts between 60 and 80 mph are possible in some areas. Forecasters wa that driving could be dangerous, especially for high-profile vehicles.
The winds will be accompanied by large and potentially dangerous surf conditions on west-facing beaches.
