Coachella 2016: Ice Cube brings out N.W.A members, Common, Snoop Dogg

INDIO >> Ice Cube spent some time with his N.W.A friends Saturday night at Coachella which included MC Ren and DJ Yella, as well as Snoop Dogg later on.

No mention was made of Dr. Dre as the N.W.A members began their first song “Straight Outta Compton.”

Cube’s son, from the hit movie “Straight Outta Compton,” also performed Cube’s N.W.A song “Dopeman” with his father. The group also performed “F*** The Police.”

Snoop Dogg joined Cube on “Go To Church” toward the end of the set and then “The Next Episode” minus Dr. Dre.

Additionally, WC from Cube’s other group Westside Coection joined him on his solo songs and their songs together like “Gangsta Nation.” Mack 10, the other member, was not part of the performance.

Hip-hop artist and actor Common also joined Cube for their new song off the latest “Barbershop” movie.

Cube performed to a large crowd at the Coachella main stage after Disclosure and just before Guns N’ Roses.
