Powerball ticket sold in Rosemead wins $1.6 million

ROSEMEAD >> A Powerball ticket sold at a Rosemead shop eaed $1,599,957 for its lucky owner in Saturday nights drawing, Califoia Lottery officials said.

A ticket sold at 99 Cent + Gift Shop, 8825 Valley Blvd., just west of Rosemead Boulevard, matched the five drawing numbers of 7, 15, 36, 18 and 19, missing only the Powerball number of 20, lottery officials said in a written statement.

Wiers are urged to immediately sign the backs of wiing tickets, keep them in safe places and bring them to a local Lottery District Office during business hours as soon as possible.

The wier will have 180 days from the drawing date to redeem the prize.
