Pedestrian killed in Long Beach hit and run, public's help sought

LONG BEACH — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed today in Long Beach.

The victim died at the scene of the injury, which occurred about 1:15 a.m. at Seventh Street and Loma Avenue, the Long Beach Police Department reported.

Anyone knowing more about the case was urged to call police.
