DOWNEY — The coroner today released the name of a man who was struck by a car and killed while “ruing in circles” on the Gle Anderson (105) freeway.
Samuel Moreno, 39, died from multiple traumatic injuries in an accident on April 17, according to the coroner’s website. The death occurred at 1:49 a.m., according to the CHP.
A 50-year-old Riverside woman was driving eastbound on the freeway in Santa Fe Springs in a 2010 Honda Odyssey when she hit the man, who was ruing in circles within the eastbound lanes of the freeway west of Lakewood Boulevard, said Mark Rasmussen of the CHP.
The driver of the Odyssey was not injured.
