The Hillary Clinton campaign is increasing its presence in Califoia, by opening a second office in the state tonight.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and L.A. County Supervisor Hilda Solis were set to join volunteers at the kickoff by making phone calls on behalf of the Democratic presidential hopeful.
The campaign’s first Califoia office opened in the Bay Area last week.

The event comes as the Clinton campaign inches closer to the 2,382 delegates needed to clinch the Democratic presidential nomination and recent polls have shown the former secretary of state pulling away from challenger Beie Sanders.
A Southe Califoia News Group/ABC7 poll released Monday showed Clinton with a 19 point lead over Sanders among likely voters for The Golden State’s June 7 primary.
Sanders, who has vowed to keep fighting through the Califoia primary, has opened two offices in the state already - including one in Hollywood - despite trailing in delegates 2,165 to 1,357.
But the Vermont senator has said those numbers include superdelegates - who are not bound to vote for Clinton at the party’s national convention in Philadelphia this summer. With just pledged delegates, Clinton’s lead is 327 and Sanders believes Califoia’s 475 delegates - dished out proportionally - are critical to his narrow path to the nomination along with flipping superdelegates who backed Clinton in states Sanders won.
