Ralphs supermarket to hire 400 at SoCal stores including Long Beach

Ralphs Grocery Company will be hiring about 400 people throughout Southe Califoia, and is holding hiring events at all of its stores Saturday.

“We have a wide variety of part-time positions that we need to fill in every Ralphs store in Southe Califoia,” Kendra Doyel, vice president of corporate affairs, said in a statement. “Positions are available to friendly and engaging people in most every department, including front end, deli, meat, bakery and grocery.”

The positions offer competitive wages, flexible schedules, benefits and room for advancement, the company said.

Job seekers interested in applying for a position at their local Ralphs supermarket should apply online at jobs.ralphs.com prior to Saturday.

Interviews will be held in stores from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Ralphs operates three stores in Long Beach: in the Marina Pacifica shopping center, 6290 Pacific Coast Highway; in the Traffic Circle, 1930 N. Lakewood Blvd.; and at 2930 E. 4th St.

The company currently employs about 20,000 people in 204 supermarkets in the Southe Califoia region.
