Detectives investigate Lakewood death

LAKEWOOD — A man was found dead today in Lakewood, authorities said.

Homicide detectives were sent to the 6200 block of Carpintero Avenue at 3:34 a.m. to investigate the circumstances of the death, said Deputy Mike Barraza of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Information was not immediately available on the man’s name or the cause of death.
