LONG BEACH – A man was shot and critically wounded in Long Beach, and police today sought to track down his assailant and determine a motive for the attack.
The shooting occurred about 5:50 p.m. Sunday near 61st Street and Orange Avenue, said Long Beach police Sgt. Brad Johnson.
The man , whose name was not released, was hospitalized in critical condition with a wound to his upper body, Johnson said.
