Johy Depp's estranged wife gets restraining order

LOS ANGELES — Actress Amber Heard obtained a temporary restraining order today against her estranged husband, Johy Depp, who was ordered to stay at least 100 yards from her home, car and workplace.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Carl Moor ruled after reviewing 40 pages of paperwork and photos behind closed doors. The documents submitted by Heard’s lawyer, Samantha Spector, included photos of the actress with a bruise on her face that she claims was inflicted during a fight on Saturday

Heard filed for divorce from Depp on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences.

Another of Heard’s attoeys, Joseph Koenig, said in a courthouse hallway that his client was dealing as well as possible with her recent ordeal.

“She’s having a hard time, it’s been a long few days,” Koenig said.

Heard stayed behind closed doors in an attoey-conference room around the coer from the courtroom while she awaited Moor’s ruling.

Depp’s attoey, Laura Wasser, declined to comment other than to say the petition was granted in part and denied in part.

Heard ignored media questions as she was escorted by a bodyguard and others from the courthouse. But in a swo declaration attached to her documents, she said she is worried Depp may harm her.

“During the entirety of our relationship, Johy has been verbally and physically abusive to me,” she said.

Depp has a “totally acknowledged public and private history of drug and alcohol abuse,” Heard said, adding she is “petrified” he may retu to her home.

She also called Depp “paranoid” and said his temper is “exceptionally scary to me.”

The stay-away order is good until June 17, when Moor is scheduled to decide whether to extend it.

Depp, 52, and Heard, 30, met on the set of “The Rum Diary” and were married in February 2015. It’s Depp’s second marriage.
