San Bernardino Terror Attack: Autopsy report for victim Damian Meins

Damian Meins, 58, was killed within seconds after being shot twice in the chest and once in the abdomen. Two other wounds in the back appear to be from after he died, according to the autopsy report.

Although he had recently began working for the San Beardino County of Environmental Health Department, Meins spent most of his professional career in Riverside County.

Meins worked for the County of Riverside’s Environmental Health Department for 23 years and another three years as assistant director in the Plaing Department before retiring in 2010. He started working for Riverside County in June 1984.

He is survived by his wife, Trea — who is principal at Sacred Heart Parish School in Rancho Cucamonga — and two adult daughters, said Ray Smith, spokesman for Riverside County.
