Hillary Clinton shuts down Donald Trump on Twitter with #DeleteYourAccount

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have gone to war... on Twitter.

The verbal sparring between the presumptive Democratic and Republican presidential nominees started Thursday afteoon after President Barack Obama endorsed Clinton.

That endorsement didn’t sit well with Trump, who took to Twitter to express his discontent.

“Obama just endorsed Crooked Hillary. He wants four more years of Obama—but nobody else does!” Trump tweeted at 11:22 a.m.

It didn’t take long for Clinton to fire back with an epic three word takedown.

“Delete your account,” the former secretary of state tweeted five minutes later.

Trump, who’s known for his own epic social media assaults, responded two hours later with a mention of Clinton’s email server issues, tweeting: “How long did it take your staff of 823 people to think that up--and where are your 33,000 emails that you deleted?”

For now it seems, Clinton has moved on.

The Twitterverse went wild over Clinton’s response, causing the hashtag #DeleteYourAccount to trend for several hours.
