CARSON >> A woman was shot to death as she walked down the street in Carson Saturday.
The victim was shot at 12:10 a.m. in the area of Carson Street and Evonda Avenue, according to deputies with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. She was walking west on Carson Street when an unknown suspect came up from behind and shot her.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, the deputies said.
