INGLEWOOD — A 24-year-old man was shot to death in Inglewood, police said today.
The incident unfolded Tuesday evening, when officers responded to a 5:35 p.m. call about a shooting in the 7900 Block of South Van Ness Avenue, according to the Inglewood Police Department.
Police arrived to find Joshua Williams, an Inglewood resident, suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his upper torso, authorities said. Williams was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
