Three shot, one killed in Sunday night shooting in Compton

COMPTON >> Three men were shot in Compton, One of them fatally, authorities said today.

The shooting was reported at 11:09 a.m. at East Laurel Street and South Rose Avenue, said Deputy Lisa Jansen of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

“One victim was pronounced dead at the scene,” Jansen said. “The other two victims were transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.”

The suspect was a man, she said.

Homicide detectives were at the scene investigating the shooting, Jansen said.
