It seems like Los Angeles Metro has had it up to here with riders being unsafe around trains.

The area transit authority released a bunch of new videos last week that show just how seriously they take safety.

Well maybe “serious” isn’t the right word.

Heads-up or headless? Safety begins with you.

Each of the animated videos is set in a fictitious place called “Safetyville” where everything is yellow and everyone is a stick figure.

These residents of Safetyville don’t last too long. Each makes a fatal error as he or she attempts to use Metro’s rail system and is maimed, dismembered or flattened beneath a train car.

Since everyone is a stick figure, these deaths are pretty fuy. Gruesome, sure, but also fuy.

And more importantly, since the victims in the videos are doing things like skateboarding on the platform or ruing to catch a leaving train, they’re great illustrations for what really could happen to you if you ignore Metro’s safety rules.

The ads are popping up all over social media, as ads on Instagram or tweets from Metro, and so far, people seem to think they’re fuy but also good safety reminders.
