Authorities today identified a man killed when a vehicle crashed on the 405 Freeway in Long Beach.
The crash was reported at 2:54 a.m. Monday on the northbound freeway at Santa Fe Avenue, Califoia Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball said.
Nery Madrid, 33, died at the scene, coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter said. His home town was not known.
The cause of the crash was under investigation.
