What's closed on July 4th in the South Bay area, July 4, 2016

Monday is a federal holiday observing Independence Day. The following schedule will be in effect:

• Closed: Schools, banks, U.S. financial markets, courthouses and federal, state, county and most city offices. Offices of the Daily Breeze will be closed to the public Monday. The paper will be delivered as it is on weekends. Subscribers who do not receive their papers by 7:30 a.m. should call the Circulation Department at 1-877-512-NEWS (6397) before 11 a.m.

• Open: Some commercial businesses and retail outlets.

• Mail: No residential or business delivery.

• Trash: Residential pickup will be one day late in most cities. Trash pickup for Culver City Sanitation customers will be unaffected.

• Transit: Buses will run on a holiday schedule.
