Paramount man with Alzheimer's missing, authorities asking for public's help

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help finding a 88-year-old man who has Alzheimer’s disease.

Tomas “Tom” Riveral Rojas was last seen 2 p.m. Monday leaving his residence in Paramount, Sheriff’s said. He was last seen driving his 2005, silver Honda CRV with a Califoia license plate of 5MPT043. His vehicle has scratches on the passenger’s side.

Investigators believe Rojas might have been headed to Hawaiian Gardens, Sheriff’s said.

Rojas is described as Filipino, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 167 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes, Sheriff’s said. No description of his clothing was available as of Tuesday moing.
