Missing Paramount man with Alzheimer's is found by deputy

A missing Paramount man who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease has been found, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said late Tuesday.

Tomas “Tom” Riveral Rojas, 88, had last seen 2 p.m. Monday leaving his residence in Paramount, Sheriff’s said. He was found by a deputy sheriff from Norwalk Sheriff’s Station who was responding to a minor traffic collision call shortly after 5 p.m. Tuesday in the 13500 block of Heflin Drive, La Mirada.

Rojas was in good condition and his family has been notified, officials said.
