LONG BEACH >> A 43-year-old man was shot in the torso in Long Beach and critically injured, police said today.
Officers from the Long Beach Department’s West Division responded to reports of a shooting in the 500 block of Cherry Avenue at 10:24 p.m. Tuesday, Lt. Kevin Coy told City News Service.
An investigation into the shooting is underway, Coy said.
