How this Comic-Con steampunk cosplay costume was made

Most come to Comic-Con for the panels, celebrity sightings and special edition merchandise, but some come just for the cosplay.

Thousands arrive at the San Diego Convention Center dressed in highly detailed, often handmade, costumes and ready to pose.

One of the costumes that caught our eye was wo by Jey Jones of San Diego.

She wore a steampunk outfit with charms dangling from her hips and neck, intricate body paint and gravity-defying wings that stretched from the center of her back to more than a foot away from her body on each side.

Jey’s husband Noah made the costume and walked us through exactly what it’s made of and how he put it together.
