Have you bought your Powerball ticket yet? Drawing for $478 million jackpot tonight

LOS ANGELES >> One of the biggest jackpots in U.S. lottery history is on the line tonight, with the pot standing at $478 million for tonight’s drawing of the multi-state Powerball game.

No tickets were sold with all six wiing numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing, the 23rd since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.

The numbers drawn Wednesday were 10, 47, 50, 65,and 68. The Powerball number was 24.

Tonight’s drawing takes place at 8 p.m., but ticket sales are cut off at 7 p.m. Tickets are $2 each.

The $478 million prize is the eighth-largest jackpot for a lottery game in the United States. The largest was a $1.6 billion jackpot -- also in the Powerball game -- from January of this year. That jackpot was split three ways, with wiing tickets sold in Florida, Teessee and Chino Hills, Califoia.

The Powerball game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
