21-year-old is the victim in fatal Compton shooting

COMPTON — A man fatally shot in Compton was identified today as a 21-year-old resident of that city.

The shooting occurred about 10:30 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of North Sloan Avenue, said Deputy Kelvin Moody of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

Brandon Davis died at a hospital, the coroner’s office reported.
