Find out the results of Saturday's DUI checkpoint in Long Beach

Long Beach police arrested four people on suspicion of driving drunk at a checkpoint this weekend at Anaheim Street and Freeman Avenue.

Results of the checkpoint, conducted between 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 a.m. Sunday, included:

• 221 vehicles screened

• Five field sobriety tests performed

• Four DUI-alcohol suspects arrested

• One warrant arrest

• One driver cited for operating an unlicensed vehicle or while suspended or revoked

• Four citations issued for unsafe driving

• One misdemeanor citation issued

The checkpoint was funded through a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a press release said.
