Chase Bank in Lakewood robbed

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a bank robbery in Lakewood.

Authorities received a call at 3:07 p.m. about a robbery at a Chase Bank in the 4200 block of Woodruff Avenue, said Lt. Eric Lindblom, watch commander at the department’s Lakewood Station. Individuals made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Further information about the robbery was not yet available as of 3:20 p.m.
