PHOTOS: Lights, camera, gunfire at El Dorado Park

Residents of Long Beach’s easte neighborhoods were waed by electric street signs to “expect park noise” in the late hours of Monday and into Tuesday moing.

They could have been more specific about the source of the noise: rapid bursts of gunfire coming from battling bootleggers and other thugs coming from the bucolic setting of El Dorado Regional Park along Wardlow Road.

Among the shooters was actor Ben Affleck, the star, director and co-writer of “Live By Night,” which was being filmed at the park for the evening.

The action took place at a construction site built during the week by crews, with 1920s-era cars parked along the tree-lined road in the park.

The film, which isn’t expected to be released until late Decmber 2017, is based on a novel by crime-writer Deis Lehane and features co-stars Zoe Saldana, Siea Miller, Elle Faing, Scott Eastwood, Brendan Gleeson and Anthony Michael Hall.
