Lake Arrowhead motorcycle crash victim identified as Artesia resident

LAKE ARROWHEAD >> The San Beardino County Coroner’s office on Saturday released the name of a 35-year-old Artesia man who died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 18 near Panorama Point.

The victim was identified as Michael Garcia, according to the Coroner’s website,

Garcia was driving a 2001 Honda 929 motorcycle north on the highway and appeared to have crossed into the southbound lanes hitting a car heading south, the Califoia Highway Patrol said.

Emergency persoel responded to the incident and pronounced Garcia dead at the scene, according to the website.

The CHP is investigating the incident.
