Motorcyclist injured in crash near Long Beach Airport

A motorcyclist was injured in a crash with another vehicle near Long Beach Airport Wednesday afteoon.

Long Beach firefighters were called around 12:41 p.m. to the area of Clark Avenue and E. Wardlow Road, said Brian Fisk, a department spokesman. Arriving units found the motorcyclist, an adult man in his 30s, suffering a broken arm.

He was transported to an area trauma hospital for treatment, Fisk said.
