LOS ANGELES >> Former state Sen. Ron Calderon pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court to one count of mail fraud in a corruption case that has shaken a local political dynasty dating back to 1979. Calderon, 58, of Montebello pleaded guilty two weeks after his brother, former state Assemblyman Tom Calderon, 62, also of Montebello, pleaded guilty to one count of money laundering.
