A man dubbed the “Baggy Eyes Bandit,” arrested by police Saturday during an attempted bank heist in Anaheim Hills, has been granted bond, according to the FBI. Artur Stepanyan, 29, of Van Nuys, was charged Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles with two bank robberies. During the hearing, a federal magistrate granted Stepanyan bond. The number of teenagers finding summer jobs surged in June to a three-year high, according to a new report from outplacement firm Challenger, Gray & Christmas. Employment among teens ages 16 to 19 increased by 691,000, the report said. That was up 13 percent from the 609,000 teen jobs that were added in June of 2015, and it was the biggest boost for that month since 779,000 teens secured summer work in June 2013.
